The NASP Delegate is nominated from the NASP membership in Florida and is elected by NASP members from Florida. Monica Oganes, Ph.D., NASP DelegateHello fellow Florida school psychologists! I am Florida’s NASP Delegate. I am excited to represent you at NASP! We are in a pivotal time and more than ever, school psychological services are needed to address the educational and mental health needs of Florida’s children. The critical shortages and the expansion of our roles will continue to be a challenge. I am confident that together, we can build capacity and address the educational inequities of our communities. As Florida’s NASP Delegate, I serve as liaison on the FASP Executive Board. I will work with the FASP leadership so that communication between NASP and FASP is fluid and timely. NASP is working diligently to effectively address all of the needs of the profession and the families we serve. During the week of November 6-10, 2023, schools throughout the United States will celebrate National School Psychology Week to highlight the important work that school psychologists and other educators do to help all students thrive.
