    • Florida Department of Education's Office of Safe Schools
      The Office of Safe Schools serves to promote and support safe learning environments by addressing issues of student safety and academic success on state, district, and school levels. Schools that implement school safety measures, drug prevention programs, and positive school climate that promote caring relationships either directly or indirectly facilitate rising student academic achievement.

 

    • U.S. Department of Health & Human Services - StopBullying.gov
      StopBullying.gov provides information from various government agencies on what bullying is, what cyberbullying is, who is at risk, and how you can prevent and respond to bullying.

 

    • i-SAFE
      i-SAFE is a blended compliance enterprise solution that combines the power of technology, traditional curriculum and the influence of social media to educate and empower students through cutting-edge e-Safety education platforms. i-MENTOR Network promotes interactive communities among students of similar ages who learn, share and teach digital safety. iDRiVE TV is a high tech show created by teens for teens, highlighting their perspective on technology in the digital world. i-SAFE partners with middle and high schools nationwide to facilitate the production of these unique 2-5 minute videos.

      The Girls Health site contains lots of information for cool girls, ranging from stress, exercise and relationships to disabilities and illnesses.

 

    • National Suicide Prevention Lifeline
      The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline is a 24-hour, toll-free suicide prevention service available to anyone in suicidal crisis. If you need immediate help, please call (800) 273-TALK (8255).

 

    • Half of Us
      Through Half of Us, mtvU and The Jed Foundation want to initiate a public dialogue to raise awareness about the prevalence of mental health issues and connect students to the appropriate resources to get help.

 

    • Mindzone – Cope. Care. Deal.
      Mindzone is a mental health web site for teens offering an abundance of information about serious mental illnesses and their treatment in no-nonsense, straight talk. Funding for the site comes from the Annenberg Foundation Trust at Sunnylands with support from the Annenberg Public Policy Center of the University of Pennyslvania.

 

  • The Trevor Project
    Crisis intervention and suicide prevention services for lesbian, gay, bi-sexual, transgender, and questioning youth. The Trevor Project operates a 24-hour lifeline at 866-4.U.TREVOR [866.488.7386], provides information on HIV/AIDS, legal matters, shelters/transitional housing, and support groups, and has a safe and supportive internet environment at TrevorSpace.org where youth 13-24 may connect with others.

  • College Resources for Disabled Students
